It’s getting to be that time of year again. You can feel it in the air. The buzz from GenCon is still fresh on the wind, but something lurks at the corner of your mind. Like a half-remembered dream, then you remember. “Oh yeah, it’s almost time for PAX!”Last year I attended PAX Prime in Seattle with the help of my friends at Steve Jackson Games and had a great time. You can read the post if you don’t believe me. During the day, I’ll be at the SJ Games booth helping them out, running demos, and generally sowing chaos, just like last year. The SJ Games booth will be in the same place it was last year, on the 2nd floor right behind the escalators. There will be tons of demo space, which is good because those guys have been busy making tons of new games.
This year though, we’ll be changing things up just a bit.
From 6:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. every night, you can find me in Room #201 (Right across from the SJ Games Booth) where I’ll be running demos of Castle Panic, Bloodsuckers, Bears! and generally sowing chaos. I’ll also be posting updates on Twitter, both to #paxtt, (the PAX Table Top gaming feed) as well as our feed @firesidegames so be sure to follow along.
The other good thing is that if you need to pick up a copy of Castle Panic or Bloodsuckers, you’ll be able to swing by Room #201 anytime from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the convention and grab a copy. PAX is always fun, but now you’ll be able to get your hands on some Fireside Games goodness a lot easier.
