I was originally going to title this post something clever and try to use the word “Nawlins”, but since I had to look up how to spell “Nawlins” on Google, I think that moment has pretty much passed.
Needless to say we’re not native to the area, but that doesn’t stop us from being excited about getting down to New Orleans. We’re going to be making a brief visit next week, just barely missing Mardi Gras, and while we’re still working out some of the details, we’re planning a few appearances and I can announce the first one now.
I’ll be at the Barnes & Noble at 3721 Veterans Boulevard in Metairie on Thursday March 17th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. (Map)
The plan is to demo Castle Panic, give away some goodies and maybe even talk a little about new games. This will work a lot like the visits we did during our Summer Tour last year which were a lot of fun. There aren’t a lot of game stores still operating in the New Orleans area, so we’ve heard that big stores like Barnes & Noble have become the places where gamers go now to get their fix. That works out good for us, and we hope to see a few of you while we’re down there.
I’ll be announcing our next appearance soon, so stay tuned to see where we turn up in the Big Easy next!
