Last Sunday was Dragon Lair’s big Demo Extravaganza and I stopped by for a few hours to meet some fans and run a few demo games. It’s always fun to meet new players, but what I found really interesting was that most of the games customers wanted to play were cooperative. Continue reading Demos and Co-ops
Okay, so this is more than a little late, but it’s still good stuff. Apparently last Halloween one of our fans decided that of all the things he wanted to dress up as, he was going to go as a Goblin from Castle Panic. How cool is that? Fire up the homemade costume machine and let slip the dogs of war! Continue reading Goblin Costume Brings the Panic to Halloween
Last weekend saw a small army of gamers march into Dallas for the 2010 Board Game Geek Convention. It’s an amazing gathering every year and just like the last times I’ve been, it’s pretty much more fun than you should be allowed to have. Continue reading BGGCon 2010
It’s still hard to believe it’s only been a year since Castle Panic came out, but last Sunday was the official day of our One Year Celebration. Continue reading Happy Birthday to Us!
The Beginning of the End, AKA DAY 3
Sunday was the last day of the Expo and things were winding down. Outside the Exhibition Hall, the artist was finishing his Metroid sketch. Continue reading Pax Wrap Up (Part 3)
With our Summer Tour winding down it was time to get down to the serious business of getting ready for Gen Con. On Wednesday, August 4th we made our way back to Indianapolis where our whole trip started and entered the Indianapolis Convention Center. Continue reading Gen Con Was Full of Awesome!
When we started our Summer Tour, my original plan was to update the blog from the road and keep everyone updated as we progressed from state to state and made all our stops. Well, between a really aggressive schedule and some very spotty internet coverage, that plan didn’t work out so well… Continue reading Summer Tour 2010 Wrap Up
Wow, that was a lot of fun! We just got back from Columbus, Ohio and the Origins Game Fair and we had a blast. The show was huge and we met a ton of fans and made a bunch of new friends. Unfortunately, we didn’t come back with the Origins Award, but just being nominated and having such great exposure still feels like winning to us. Continue reading Origins, Origins and more Origins!
Last Saturday was the big day for the Give 2 Game charity event and it was a lot of fun. The turnout was much bigger than last year and it looks like the donations were more than twice what was made last time! It didn’t hurt that there were tons of games available and lots of people to play them with as well.
My good buddy Matt Kuphaldt ran some demo games of Castle Panic for us at his local game store, Gamma Ray Games in Seattle, WA. It’s a beautiful store that I think should win an award for “Coziest Place Justin Wants To Play Games At”. In fact, since it’s an award I just made up, they win! Congratulations Gamma Ray Games!
Matt took some nice photos so you can see for yourselves.

Well, I just got back from my whirlwind trip out to Las Vegas for the GAMA Trade Show. This was our first time attending GTS and it was quite an experience. Continue reading GAMA Trade Show Wraps Up!
Okay, so this doesn’t have anything to do with games, but it was just so cool I had to post anyway. Continue reading Stormtroopers and Sword Fighting, Oh My!
Here’s a little something to make your Friday even better.
